Crane places six on 1A All-State teams

After reaching the 1A state championship football game for the second year in a row, the Crane Mustangs had six players named to the 1A All-State football teams.

Named to the first team offense were David Steeves, senior, running back; Cashe Davis, senior, receiver; and Sam Williams, senior, guard.

Receiving honorable mention was Miles Maupin, junior, quarterback.

Named to the first team defense were Williams, defensive line; Bryce Otley, senior, defensive end; Steeves, linebacker; and Davis, defensive back.

Second team honors went to Maupin, linebacker; and Jay Jay Balowski, junior, defensive back.

Player of the Year honors went to Bailey Keever of Dufur, and the Rangers’ head coach, Jack Henderson, was named Coach of the Year.
