Pam Davis Dean Campbell 1960-2015

 

OBIT Campbell WEBPam Davis Dean Campbell, 55, passed away Dec. 28 at her home in Powell Butte, with her husband, Brad, and children, Morgan and Dylan, by her side.

Pam was born May 26, 1960, in Burns to William Gale and Belva Davis.  She attended Burns Union High School and graduated in 1978. She then attended Mt. Hood Community College and graduated with an associate degree, and became a respiratory therapist. Pam worked as an RRT until January 2015.

Pam worked at all the Central Oregon hospitals as a respiratory therapist, and was the department manager for Pioneer Memorial Hospital, while also operating Ochoco Medical Supply. In 2001, Pam joined the Juice Plus Company, where she excelled and won a national award in 2003 for promoting children’s health.

Pam developed a love for horses at an early age.  She rode every chance she could get and was often seen at many local barrel races. After college, Pam married Mike Dean, and together had Mike’s daughter, Karma, and two children together, Morgan and Dylan. They later divorced, but remained friends. Pam was a member of the Catholic Church.  She was a people person and was always there to help a friend in need. In 2007, she married Brad Campbell. They worked together and traveled for both business and pleasure.

Pam is survived by her husband, Brad Campbell of Powell Butte; children, Morgan Dean of Katy, Texas, and Dylan Dean of Powell Butte; step-daughters, Kristy (Brian) Sheer of Alfalfa, Kara (Ty Woolsey) Campbell of Pendleton, and Karma (Marco) Pelcastre of Brooklyn, N.Y.; mother, Belva McCullough of Prineville; brother, Scott (Tara) Davis or Prineville; sister, Glenna Davis of Sumpter; step-brothers, Dan (Carrie) McCullough of Bend, Bob McCullough of San Diego, Calif., Alan (Christine) McCullough of Eugene, Charlie (Kathy) McCullough of Bend,; step-sister, Molly (Evan) Smith of Reno, Nev.; and numerous step-grandchildren.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, William Gale Davis; step-father, Orval McCullough; grandparents, Lyle Brace, Dorothy Brace, Jonathan Davis, and Marquerite Davis; brother, Steven Gale Davis; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the Elks Lodge in Prineville.
